ECA Productions Logo
We wanted the ECA Productions logo to stand out, to be rememberable.
This was the best candidate.
This is because when looking at previous film companies,' Fox Search Light Pictures' and 'Paramount Pictures' (as can be seen above) and there logos we saw that there logos were incorporated in there introductions.
Using this i
This meant that the final image for our Logo was the picture to the left.

Sounds and Music
In order to create suspense in our title sequence we need; music (non-diegetic sound) and the effects (non-diegetic and diegetic sound).
For the music I looked around youtube for different example of effect music, the video below I think is the best candidate for how the music would sound -
For the Effects I looked into what sort of sounds would be needed.
These videos are example of some of the sounds that we may use effects similar to the ones on the video below-
Heavy Breathing
Car door being slammed along with this there will be the sounds of a car pulling into a driveway
Screams

Actors
Daniel Stevens is one of the actors we will be using as a drug dealer in the fight and one of the ones that die. He was used in my test footage and I think that he will be a good enough candidate for my final piece.
Harry Martin is one of the actors that we will be using as a drug dealer in the fight and the other one that dies. He was used in my test footage and we think with a slight bit improvement he will be good for my final piece.
Ranne Garidos is my main actor as he is the double agent (Protagonist) Matt. he will meet his colleague and be in a fight with the drug dealers and be the one having the flashbacks.
ECA Productions Logo and Analysis
This photo is a screen capture of out production logo.
It is white letters on an image of a galaxy or planets and stars.
We thought this was the best and creative one we came up with.
I think our group have done an effective group of each creating one and coming to a final decision as to which one was best.
Filming schedule update for new location
Due to the fact we had to change our location, the filming schedule needed to be redrafted. Because we are also doing all of this in one location all filming can now be done in one day meaning only one filming schedule is needed. This is very similar to the previous filming schedule but aspects such as location, time and some of the plan have had to be changed to fit to our new plans.
Location and Reece - Rethink on Basis of Practicality
location video- possible ideas
this shows many different possible shots from different angles to show the scene from an all around view so that we know the different shots and ideas we can do when it comes to shooting the final sequence.
this shot shows a possible location for the main characters walking to meet or even have the fight here as in the right lighting it could look quite good.
this picture links shows the entrance to the tunnels that we can use as a possible location to shot that the drug dealers are on their way to intercept the meeting between the colleagues.
we could use this alley as part of the journey between the meeting of the agents as it looks quite old and dilapidated and in the right lighting could look intimidating
These photos show the car we are going to use to chauffeur the woman colleague to the meeting point. I have taken photos from inside the car as we are going to have shots such as this to help with the building of suspense and because there is going to be a shot with the woman on the phone from the back seat talking to the drug dealers but this will not be given away as she will be saying vague sentences that will help build the mystery.

this church could be an effective backdrop for a panning shot as it is quite old and from the right angle and in the right dimness it could look imposing and sinister and add to the mood of the shot
these five locations could be possible places for a meeting and exchanging of the envelope which is the vital prop within the title sequence as the important information that has been discovered; depending upon which setting looks more effective depends upon which location we will chose when we edit the whole thing together. these are our possible ideas so that if we change our mind that it is not good enough whilst editing we have a back up video to use.
this canal links to the one by Wickes which means it will fit with the picture if we need this particular location as an added help.
this picture links shows the entrance to the tunnels that we can use as a possible location to shot that the drug dealers are on their way to intercept the meeting between the colleagues.
this place can be where the car pulls up when the driver drops the woman colleague off to meet the double agent; it has enough space for the car to pull around fast and make it look like a believable thriller.
this is the warehouse we are going to use as the backdrop as the warehouse where the drug dealers are based which can connect the story as to why he has left the warehouse in the first place.
we could use this alley as part of the journey between the meeting of the agents as it looks quite old and dilapidated and in the right lighting could look intimidating
these six photos can be used as the places for the pan and match on action shots we are going to use to add the suspense and mystery to our title sequence. i think the dilapidated look and barren feel to them with the added effect of dim/ murky lighting will help the story have the desired effect

Weather forecast for filming
By finding out the weather before we shoot will give an idea of how to present things, what to be prepared for and if the weather is suitable for what we are filming.

Location and Recce - Permissions
Access Storage
To film at Access Storage Warehouses we first needed permission. I sent them an enquiry to ask if filming there was possible and I got a response in return. All the evidence for filming permission can be seen below;
To which I got the following reply;
After I got this email I sent them the right necessary information;
After a few days without a reply I followed up on this request. Thought about the advertising done in other Thriller films and considered this in my email. I got an immediate reply;
This then continued till a date was arranged and I was expecting to here from the manager and regional manager;
The emails were not completed as the location was impractical
Hastings
I went onto the Hasting council website and found this page on the site;
Location And Reece
About our locations
For our opening sequence we need two locations in order to make the sequence to the best that it can be.The two locations would be needed for the fight scene and the following scene where Matt follows Amber across town into the warehouse, where the fight and the beginning of the sequence would be filmed. The town will also be used as the panning location for the credits, as in our test footage we found that we didn't give enough time or space for credits, so this is important when doing our final sequence.
We planned on filming for our main locations;
- Hastings
- TFC group warehouse
Our backup locations incase we cannot use these;
- Access Storage warehouses (Orpington or Dartford)
- The Bridge
Access Storage - The beginning and fight scene
Our first idea for this location was the TFC group warehouses in Tonbridge, where Anna's dad, Paul Tyler works. But unfortunately we couldn't use this location so we went for our backup location. This is the access storage warehouse at Orpington.
To film here we needed permission from the manger so I emailed them (See permission Post).
This is the most important place that we needed permission to film at as most of the sequence based there, from both the reality and memory perspective.
They would not allow us to go there and take pictures before the filming date, so I've used pictures from there website to get a feel of the location.
As apart of our arrangement to film at Access Self Storage we were willing to put in free advertising in order to film for free at our desired location.
Hastings - The following scene and panning

When actually shooting at the location the location would be less bright with added extra effects.
This is the part of the memory that would start the enigma code and make sure that the audience keeps inerest. We have used the fishing part of Hastings as it has this abandoned feel to it. It is filmed there to make the audience feel unwanted and suspicious about the location, especially as they see Matt walking abound there constantly checking over his shoulder. The pictures show this;
This location is also important for the panning part as we found from the test footage that it is hard to put in credits for the actual footage.
